“Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.” Jane Howard
Providing parents and caregivers of children/teens who have significant behavioral challenges or emotional needs as a result of trauma, family separation, divorce, adoption, or medical challenges. Family Therapy provides an opportunity for all family members to explore, share and own their own thoughts and curiosities within a professional container. Family Therapy focuses less on the member who has been identified as ill and focuses more on the family as a whole. Often times, the way family members handle problems makes them more likely to develop symptoms.
The goal of family therapy is to encourage collaboration and understanding among family members in order to uncover the source of the problems. Always working with your family’s strengths and empowering healthy connections.
